White dwarfs from SDSS and LAMOST

The overwhelming majority of all stars end their lives as white dwarfs(WDs). It is believed that 97 per cent of the stars in the Galaxy will eventually evolve to WDs. Large spectroscopic surveys like SDSS and LAMOST provided great opportunity for researches on WDs. In this talk, I will go over my previous work of WDs identified in LAMOST DR2, a candidate debris disk around WD, and give a brief introduction of my future research plan.
