Astronomy Summer Camp 2012

Since 2008, the DoA, KIAA, NAOC, and Beijing Planetarium have jointly organized the annual Astronomy Summer Camp, with the aim of selecting the most outstanding high school students from all over China as undergraduate students. Approximately eighty young talents are invited to participate in the Astronomy Summer Camp. During the event they are introduced to research in astrophysics, attend lectures by Chinese and international faculty, and visit professional observatories, with the aim of inspiring the young talents and to enhance their understanding of astrophysics.
