I am a professor at the Kavli Institute for Astronomy and Astrophysics and Department of Astronomy at Peking University. I got my B.S. in Physics from University of Science and Technology of China and Ph.D. in Astrophysics from Princeton University. I was a postdoctoral fellow at Canadian Institute for Theoretical Astrophysics, a Hubble Fellow at University of California at Berkeley, and a research associate at the Department of Astronomy and Astrophysics at University of California at Santa Cruz. For details, see my Curriculum Vitae .

Research Interests:

Astrophysicists apply laws in all fields of physics to study and explain fantastic phenomena, events and objects found in the heavens, and the evolution of the heavens itself. I am a theoretical astrophysicist. My research interests range from galactic and planetary dynamics, black hole physics and Quasars/Active Galactic Nuclei, formation and evolution of galaxies and supermassive black holes, to the reionization of the Universe. Selected Publications:

My publications can also be found on the web at Astrophysics Data System (ADS) or astro-ph.
