Quasar Science with Large Surveys

Prof. Xue-Bing Wu (DoA) and Prof. Xiaohui Fan (KIAA/UA) are organizing an informal internal workshop on quasar and AGN science using large survey data. We will discuss how to use a number of new and upcoming surveys, in particular SDSS-III/DR9, WISE, SCUSS and LAMOST, to address a number of critical areas in quasar/AGN research, including survey statistical completeness, quasar/galaxy coevolution, AGN unification and quasar/IGM connections.
