Research interests: 
Galaxy formation/evolution, in particular the structure and evolution of the Milky Way; data mining with photometric/spectroscopic surveys; variable stars and gravitational microlensing.
Research Highlights: 

My main research deals with the analysis and interpretation of data from large spectroscopic surveys like SDSS/SEGUE and LAMOST. In particular I am interested in utilising such data sets to understand both the structure of the Milky Way and its formation.
