The first announcement of 10th Jing-Guang-Xia Astrophysics Meeting-第十届京广厦会议第一轮通知

The 10th Jing-Guang-Xia Astrophysics Meeting will be held in Xiamen University on July 20-23, 2016. The meeting has been jointly sponsored by Peking university, Guangzhou University, Guangxi University and Xiamen University annually, the aim of the meeting is providing the platform of exchange and cooperation among the researchers, it will invite scholars to give talks on the current research hotpots, grand scientific issues and big observation programs, the meeting will also provide an opportunity for the graduate students, postdocs and young faculty to know each other. It encourages them to report their research work and the new progress in the meeting. The meeting will also invite people from The University of Hong Kong, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), Macau University of Science and Technology, Sun Yat-sen University and Yunnan University to join it this year.

The meeting will not charge the registration fee, but the participants need to take care of their own transportation and accommodation.

第十届京广厦天体物理研讨会

第一轮通知

兹定于2016年7月20日至7月23日在厦门大学举办第十届京广厦天体物理研讨会。

京广厦天体物理研讨会由北京大学、广州大学、广西大学和厦门大学联合举办。秉承研讨会的办会宗旨，本届研讨会一方面邀请专家学者就当前的天体物理研究热点、重大科学问题和重大观测计划的最新进展做综述报告，为研究人员提供了交流合作的平台；另一方面鼓励研究生和青年教师汇报工作成果、新进展和新思维，主题不限，为广大研究生和青年教师提供了开阔视野、选择课题、汇报成果的机会。同时，为加强南中国天文学界的联系，本次会议还将邀请香港大学、香港科技大学、香港理工大学、香港中文大学、澳门科技大学、中山大学、云南大学等七所高校有关人员参加。

会议有关事项如下：

1.会议地点：福建省厦门市厦门大学

2.会议时间：

7月20日：报到（地点：厦门大学逸夫楼）

7月21日-7月23日上午：学术报告和自由交流；

7月23日下午：离会

3.会议不收取注册费，交通和住宿费用自理。

4.报名截止日期：2016年6月15日

报告题目提交截止日期：2016年7月1日。

5.会议组织工作：

（1）学术组织工作由厦门大学方陶陶教授负责。各校师生的参会名单以及学术报告汇总后统一发给方陶陶教授；四校可分别提出特邀其它天文单位学者参会的建议名单；

（2）由方陶陶教授以京广厦会议组委会名义向香港等其余七所高校发出邀请并征集参会名单；

（3）会务接待工作负责人为厦门大学罗舒老师（13905910790）。
