The University of Arizona and The Next Generation of Astronomical Observatories

Dr. Jannuzi is the Director of Steward Observatory and Head of Astronomy Department at the University of Arizona. He will introduce the wide array of facilities that Steward Observatory is operating, and the science, especially survey science, enabled by those facilities. He will also discuss the LSST and GMT projects, their status, progress and the scientific potential promised by the new generation of astronomical observatories.
