Introduction of Laboratory Astrophysics

Laboratory astrophysics, based on plasma physics experiments, is one alternative method to study astrophysics except the classical observations and numerical simulations. Laboratory astrophysics is one of an explorative and innovative interdisciplinary, which will greatly promote the fusion of two fields between lab and astrophysics plasmas. By using intense lasers, one can produce the extreme physical conditions similar to those astrophysical phenomena and enables the people to study them in a close, controllable, active way in the lab. In this talk I will give a brief introduction on this field such as 1)Magnetic reconnection 2) Magnetic fields generation 3) Jet or outflow evolution and transmission.
