Magellanic Clouds: How much do we understand these neighbouring galaxies?

The Large and Small Magellanic Clouds are the nearest interacting galaxies and are ideal test bets to study details of galaxy interactions. I shall present our recent studies of these Clouds using various stellar as well as gaseous tracers to understand their structure, recent star formation and kinematics. I shall also discuss these results in the context of formation and evolution of these galaxies.
