Searching for Inflationary Gravitational Waves and the Ali CMB project

Direct detection of gravitational waves by LIGO opens up the new era of gravitational wave astronomy. However, another type of gravitational waves produced in the very beginning of the Universe has yet been detected. I will talk about the current status of searching primordial gravitational waves by observing Cosmic Microwave Background, and introduce the Ali CMB project. The major science goal is searching for the primordial gravitational wave signal from the Tibet plateau.
